For twenty years or so, Randy has wanted to be on stage. While he was able to enjoy roles in some smaller church productions over the years, it was really the public stage that he yearned for. In the fall of 2011, he finally got his big chance when he took on the role of Chief Bromden in Ten Bucks Theatre’s production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Randy was quickly adopted into the Ten Bucks ensemble and currently serves on the board as the company President. He has also enjoyed being part of the Bangor Rotary Club’s “Music Off Broadway” productions since 2011.
Randy made his directorial debut with TBT’s production of Rabbit Hole in November 2012. It was a script that he fell in love with, and he is amazed at what his cast and crew were able to do with it.
Among Randy’s other favorite roles: Rev. David Lee in The Foreigner (BCT, 2012), Tom Snout in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (TBT, 2012), Lane in The Importance of Being Earnest (TBT, 2012) and Mr. Webb in Our Town (Orono Community Theatre, 2012).
Randy is always looking forward to what the world of theatre has to offer and is learning something new with each production he is a part of.
