Bernard Hope

Bernard has been acting in the Greater Bangor area for some time and joined Ten Bucks Theatre
ensemble in 2008. Since then, he has filled the important ceremonial role of token ‘Brit’ (Brexit
permitting)!
In addition to being an ensemble member, he currently serves on the company’s executive board as
the member’s board representative.
He has worked locally with Ten Bucks Theatre, Acadia Repertory Theatre (Mt. Desert Island, ME),
Penobscot Theatre Company (Bangor, ME), Grand Theatre (Ellsworth, ME), New Surry Theatre (Blue
Hill, ME) and other local groups.
He immigrated to the USA in 2005 and lives in Bangor with his wife Catherine. They operate
nationally branded, franchised, retail businesses in both Ellsworth & Bucksport, Maine.
